DAHIWADI – Dahiwadi is situated 25km away from Satara . It’s an important taluka of Satara where all the government offices are located. Manganga river flows though Dahiwadi. Siddanath is the presiding deity of this place. A beautiful temple is built for the deity.

GONDOWLE BUDRUK – 4km from Dahiwadi, Gondhale Budruk is famous for Gondhale Maharaj. You can find the Samadhi of Brahmachaitanya Gondhale Maharaj in this village. The Temple is very huge with rest houses for the pilgrims. You can have a stay at this place with excellent food served throughout the year. The Temple of Lord Ram, Laxman and Sita is situated here. Shani temple is another famous temple of this place.

Brahmachaitanya Gondhalekar Maharaj Samadhi Mandal Trust runs a famous hospital called as the Chaitanya Hospital which serves the poor. A huge fair is organized during the month of December which is the major attraction of this place.

PINGLI TALAV – On Satara – Pandharpur highway Pingli talav is situated. It was constructed by the British. This place is famous for Cattle Breeding. There are many centers for cattle breeding situated here 2km from Pingli village.

MESHWAD – Meshwad is on Satara – Pandharpur highway. It is famous for Siddeshwar and Jogeshwar temples. The Rathoustav is the major attraction for the tourist. A 13 century temple of Lord Shiva is also situated here. The Lingam is in deep caves. It is opened for common people only during the festival of Mahashivratri. There are many Jain temples situated in this region.

DEVAPUR – 6km from Meshwad is Devapur. Rajewadi Lake is situated in Devapur. It was constructed by Queen Victoria to provide employment to the local people. It has proved to be major boom for irrigation. This place is also called as Nangras.
