Pandharpur Ashadhi Ekadashi Wari

Pandharpur is a city located in the Solapur district of Maharashtra, India. It is known for being one of the holiest places in the state and is the site of the famous Vitthal Temple, dedicated to Lord Vitthal, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Pandharpur is considered to be the abode of Lord Vitthal and is a major center of pilgrimage for Hindu devotees, especially during the annual Ashadhi Ekadashi Wari. The city is also known for its rich cultural heritage, beautiful landscapes, and historical significance, making it a popular tourist destination.

Every year millions of Hindus visited through Wari to Vithoba Temple in month of Ashadh (June-July).

Every Devote comes together and singing Bhajan and walk to Pandharpur. They called that togetherness as a “Dindi”.

At the time of Wari there are some attractive Events like “Ringan” and “Dhava” to make the uniqueness of Wari.

Around Pandharpur there are some another important places like Tuljapur (Tulja Bhavani Temple – Kuldevait of Shivaji Maharaj Family), Shri Swami Samarth Shri Kshetra Akkalkot, Datta Mandir at Gangapur.
