Eknath Shinde is an Indian politician from the state of Maharashtra. He is a member of the Shiv Sena political party and has held several important positions in the state government.
Shinde was born on February 7, 1955, in the village of Narayanpur in the Thane district of Maharashtra. He is a graduate of the University of Mumbai. He has been associated with the Shiv Sena for several years and has held several important positions within the party, including that of the head of the Mumbai unit.
Shinde has also served as a member of the Maharashtra Legislative Council and has been elected to the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly several times. He has held several important portfolios in the state government, including those of the Minister of Public Works and the Minister of Rural Development.

Eknath Shinde is the 20th Chief Minister of Maharashtra. He completed his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University. Before his Political Carrier, he used to drive an Autorickshaw to support his family.
