Shaniwar Wada Pune

Shaniwar Wada is a fortification in Pune, Maharashtra, India. It was the palace of the Peshwa rulers of the Maratha Empire and served as the center of Maratha politics and administration in the 18th century. The palace was originally built in 1730 and was destroyed in a fire in 1828, leaving only its ruins which are now a popular tourist attraction.
